Manset is on the "quiet" side of the island (as compared to Bar Harbor), but it’s an active neighborhood and we love being here! Our apartment is situated in a larger building with another apartment upstairs and a commercial space—with a tenant who just occupied it last month . A neighborhood with boat building history and current activity.. A short walk down to Manset (rocky) shore. Seawall picnic area is not far away via car/bicycle down the main road as are Wonderland and Ship Harbor trails.

Studio with loft, kitchen, and bathroom on Echo Lake in Acadia. Sleeps 5 (King loft, Queen convertible couch, and Single fold-out twin bed). BYO camping approach: PACK-IN/PACK-OUT everything including your garbage. You must bring your own sheets, pillows, blankets, & towels. Lake Views, Sunsets and Loons abound!

You can access the water via a set of stairs leading from the property to the shoreline. End your days on the deck and keep your eyes peeled for seals!

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

Relax in the garden, hang out on the deck, soak in the clawfoot tub, enjoy the fast wifi – or walk or drive over to Belfast center - it's close! This coastal town is truly a gem, but if you’d like to explore further afield, it’s also an excellent base for day trips to Camden (30 minutes) or Acadia National Park (1.25 hours.) Belfast celebrates diversity. We welcome guests from all backgrounds.

Across the street is the stop for Island Explorer bus with free seasonal transportation to all over the island and Acadia National Park. Parking available for 1 vehicle.
