The cottage ‘Lichtberg 2’ is the smaller of the two neighbouring organic houses (see also ‘Lichtberg 1’). It is enchantingly secluded in the garden and by the field - and yet very close to the city (10 minutes to the university, city centre, main station and motorway) and has been renovated with high-quality materials in line with building biology. With 130 m², there is enough space in a 3-room apartment and it offers a pleasant atmosphere with a fireplace. You can explore castles via hiking trails or by boat trips in the Middle Rhine Valley, which is known for the UNESCO World Heritage. All shops, supermarkets (REWE, Lidl), restaurants as well as tourist attractions and boat docks are easily reached on foot.

This is where you can arrive and feel at home. The bakery is only 50m from the house, so your physical well-being is well taken care of. The restaurant Steuer is also around the corner. Treat yourself to a visit to our half-timbered house Anno 1690, renovated in 2019, in the very quiet old town of Stromberg, right by the Schlossbrunnen fountain below the 3 castles. The kitchen on the 2nd floor is excitingly located in the former battlement of the city wall. The medieval building still has the typical steep oak stairs and the ceiling height is outside the norm. Cozy stay in the house and as a starting point for hikers & bikers....for relaxation and adventure...
