Relax on the porch or by the fire pits while cooking on the grills by a scenic creek! While here visit the gravesite or museum of Devil Anse, just a short walking distance away.

This is "Not Just Another Trail House”. This fully remodeled home is designed for riders that want more than a bunkhouse and prefer a more intimate setting like being in your own home. This home is less than a half mile to the Devil Anse trail head and 1 mile from downtown Matewan. Fix your meals in the stocked kitchen or on the Blackstone Griddle, or eat at one of Matewan's restaurants! This home is designed for a maximum 6 guests. Rockhouse Hillside Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This 2 bedroom 2 bath has close access to Buffalo Mtn trail system. It is located a mile and a half from the Hatfield McCoy trail 14. We offer a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom. One bedroom has two queen beds. The other offers one King bed. There is also a twin size trundle bed. We also offer a queen size air mattress for more than 8 guests staying. Come visit Rockhouse Hillside Retreat and enjoy a peaceful Mtn view.

Peggie’s Studio Retreat

Peggie’s Studio Retreat is nestled in a secluded hollow just minutes from the Bearwallow Trailhead of the Hatfields & McCoys’ Trail System. The space is a large art/photography studio that has been transformed into an inviting living space. You’ll love the peace and quiet after a day on the trails. Buy your official Hatfield - McCoyTrail Permits on site. (Let Peggie know you want to purchase Trail Passes when you book the studio. Two week notice required )

Relaxing stay at Creekside Lodge

Wonderful, homey getaway beside flowing creek with little traffic, less than a mile from the Buffalo Mountain Trailhead. This is not just a place for trail riders but has been used by people attending family reunions and local festivals. Creekside Lodge is within the town limits of Delbarton where there are several restaurants, a small general store, and soon to open Dollar General. Trail riders will pass a local gas station on the way to the trail head.
