Spruce Cottage is a newly built, private cottage with a comfortable size, built in a quiet location Just 70 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen. You can relax and enjoy the seasonal nature of Echigo-Yuzawa. It has an open dining kitchen, a raised relaxation space, and a spacious upstairs bedroom. Bedding is available for 2 single beds (2 people), 1 double futon (2 people), and 1 single futon (1 person), depending on the number of people booked. Since 5 adults would be cramped, we can only accept up to 5 people, including children (infants). There are many ski resorts within a 10-minute drive, so you can try out various ski resorts depending on the weather, snow conditions, and your mood. Recommendations from spring to fall Yuzawa Fishing Park, river play spots, Nakazato Firefly Village, etc. are very close by. We also book BBQ grill rentals. This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. There is a full counter kitchen with stunning views and condiments and cookers so you can enjoy cooking.(No BBQ equipment)
