Dreamy, Modern Airstream Retreat near Muir Woods
Soak up the relaxed aesthetic of this modernized 31 ft '80s Airstream, aptly named Dreamy Muirstreamy, with hardwood floors and a boutique hotel feel. Kick back with a cold beer on the private deck, or take in the stunning forest views from the cool Acapulco chairs before an atmospheric hike into Muir Woods and Mt. Tam. Swim and Surf at Muir Beach and Stinson Beach too! This is a 31 foot 1981 modernized Airstream with plush bedding, hardwood floors and tiled bath. The Airstream retreat offers both an indoor shower as well as an outdoor shower. It has WIFI, both heat and AC, microwave, fridge, toaster, hotplate and BBQ. This airstream has its own private ipe deck with daybed and picnic table as well as 2 Acapulco chairs. The deck overlooks wooded forests and is very private. The bedroom is a customized mattress that is sized somewhere between a Cal King and King and in the living room is a sleeper sofa that would be comfortable for 1 adult or 2 smaller children. Private entrance down a small set of stairs and key available with lockbox code for easy check in any time 3PM and after. If you need something we are here! Just text or call or come by. 415361360 The panoramic neighborhood of Mill Valley is known for its amazing views, easy access to nature, and close proximity to Muir Woods, beaches, and the urban fun of San Francisco. The airstream is steps away from trails to hike, bike, and run. Park your car on our property. Drive, bike, walk, hike and run- all great ways to get around. Plus there is a bus that picks up at the end of our street and will take you West to the beaches or East to Sausalito and Very transport to San Francisco for only 2 dollars! Also if you want to drive to Muir Woods you will need parking reservation. Here is the link: https://gomuirwoods.com. Alternatively you can hike into the woods from the airstream and be at the visitor center in about 30 minutes for free! This airstream is nestled into a corner of our 1+ acre property. It is a private and special retreat! For most of the year, we are blessed with perfect Northern California weather. Cool mornings and evenings and warm and pleasant mid day and afternoon temps. Our guest home is located in the “banana belt’ of the Panoramic neighborhood. Often the fog can be blowing heavily on other parts of the mountain but once you turn onto our street you may be drenched in sun. It's a secret! And it is pretty amazing!
