In the heart of the wild and romantic Székelyvarság (Vărșag) there is the Bigpine guesthouse, where in the mornings the squirrels, deers play and you can feel the pure energies of nature. A few hundred meters away you’ll find the amazing Csorgókő waterfall and a modern ski slope with restaurant. Just a few steps and you find yourself in a forest with fresh springs, strawberries, mushrooms. At the house you can enjoy the view relaxing in the hot tub and sauna. Our over a hundred-year old converted Transylvanian barn provides silent environment in a small, rural village of the Csík-basin in the Eastern Carpathians. You can enjoy our garden by having a barbecue or just spending a relaxing hour in the swing chair. The interieur is furnished with items from the old house, others were collected from the surrounding villages. You find a tasteful combination of old & modern, a great escape from busy town-life for couples, families or groups of friends.

The property has two Szekler wooden houses, over 100 years old each, completely “reborn”. We offer one of them for guests who appreciate built heritage, nice panorama and organic garden. We tried to preserve folk heritage, adding a vintage touch and using colorful home accessories to offer a warm and homey atmosphere. The 5100 sqm courtyard with huge ancient trees make you will feel like being in a forest. You can rest in a hammock, listen to the bird’s songs and recharge your batteries.
