This is what holiday dreams under thatched roofs look like: The Frisian cottage "Kliemkiker" was newly built in 2016: 120 square meters of living space for up to 4 people on a nearly 1000 square meter plot with fantastic views, directly on the Wadden Sea National Park. A dog is also very welcome. All North Frisian islands (Sylt, Föhr, Amrum) and Halligen (e.g. Hooge, Gröde, Langeness) as well as the islands of Pellworm and Römö in Denmark are easily reached by car, train or boat as a day trip.

Centrally located on the Island, this spacious home is perfect for two families, featuring two kitchens, two bathrooms, and two washing machines. Enjoy privacy or togetherness with a door that divides the living spaces. Close to the Frisian Museum, Grethjens Gasthof, bakery, agriculture market, and playground, with Nieblum Strand just a 14-minute bike ride away. Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Lütt Hus on the dike - As the name implies - it is small and beautiful! Perfectly equipped, provided with individuality. The Wadden Sea, Fuhlenhörn swimming area, farms, a unique landscape, the right place for deep relaxation and recreation. We live next door - but not always and look forward to nice guests. For our guests we are always available by phone, email or WhatsApp. Our cleaning lady makes sure that everything shines and will make up the beds on request.

Föhrienwohnung 2, Midlum

Midlum on Föhr is the golden center of the island. Idyllic overlooking the green marsh is the village of Midlum. With its beautiful iron houses and wide views, the village exudes tranquility. From Midlum you can explore the island in all directions, by bike there are excellent connections, to the beach it is about 4 km, to the museum "Art of the West Coast" in Alkersum about 1 km. The village is also the start and finish of Germany's northernmost marathon.

Feringhüs Wrixum, Apartment 1

The approx. 110 sqm apartment is located on the first floor of the Feringhüs. From the spacious hallway you can access the bedrooms and the kitchen with modern built-in kitchen and cozy sitting area. In the adjacent living room with comfortable sofas there is a real Frisian "Pesel." As in the kitchen, the walls here are decorated with antique tiles. Wooden beam ceiling, oak floorboards and lattice windows underline the charm of the old Frisian house.

Modern comfort can be combined with all the amenities of a farm holiday.

Thatched Cottage by the Lake

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard near the lake Botschlott. The accommodation is a traditional thatched farmhouse flat with a view overlooking the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marshes. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can canoe, cycle and watch the flocks of birds that use the partly protected lake as a migration and nesting site. The house was carefully restored with natural materials in 2025/2026

Lovingly and with care, we have furnished our thatched cottage - in the hope that you and your family and / or friends will feel at home! A newly covered, local thatched roof, the restoration of the old dormer and a careful approach to the expansion in order to preserve as much as possible - that was important to us and characterizes this unique building. Unfortunately, we are not suitable for party groups!
