Come for a relaxing getaway in the country. Cook in our small kitchenette or use our Blackstone or fire pit. Located in a small hobby farm setting with cows, sheep, & chickens roaming the pasture. We also have a cat that claims the pool area as her own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.

Hills School 1916

How cool - an historic local treasure with a modern aesthetic. Dramatic, yet so comfortable! This former K-8 rural brick schoolhouse was built in 1916 and is situated in beautiful SW Michigan wine country surrounded by woods and farmland. Soaring 12’ ceilings and magnificent tall windows in both bedrooms and living area capture the country light morning to night. Completely renovated in 2020 with many new upgrades completed spring 2024.

The lookout inspired Outpost Treehouse (not actually attached to a tree) sits in a white pine forest in the middle of a 65 acre active farm. The 15 hand crafted windows allow for great views watching out for Michigan wildlife--White tail deer, turkeys, owls, coyote have all been spotted from the elevated wrap around deck. The biggest regret that guests have noted is “we wish we would have stayed longer”!
