This 200 ft. tiny house is tucked nicely away in the beautiful northern Michigan woods. Its light and airy space is comfy and bright, without being too constricting, it is only a 2.5 miles from downtown Charlevoix.
“This spot was so lovely and perfect — Elizabeth didn’t miss one thing when it came to providing a ton of extra special touches and overall being great to talk to. I will give feedback from an accessibility standpoint though the photos and description are accurate — if you’re a moderately fat person (🙋♀️) you will struggle with many things here. The ladder to the sleeping area is terrifying, even for my thinner husband it is steep going up and coming down, especially is you pee a lot in the night, is like taking your life into your own hands. Speaking of the bathroom, you have to shimmy by the full size pedestal sink to use the toilet, which gets old. Also, it rained both nights of our stay so we sat inside at the kitchen table, which is also, you guessed it — tiny! Even my husband had a very hard time fitting in comfortably. The last thing from a general preference standpoint, there are bible verses EVERYWHERE and that is off putting for me and I assume many others. Bravo to Elizabeth for providing such a special, unique experience, all things considered we had a lovely stay thanks to her work!”

“From the moment I walked in my jaw was on the floor. We were greeted by the beautiful lake through the giant windows and upbeat throw back music. My partner and I did a little dance while we put down our bags and it was honestly magical. I don’t remember the last time we busted a move like that. We explored the house and it was like being a little kid again. The little loft stole our attention and we were delighted by the singing bowl and the cushion set up, we both felt like it was a perfect spot to meditate. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of kitchen supplies, there was literally everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and fridge. The whole space was incredibly clean and that was very important for me because I’m a clean freak. The jacuzzi was PERFECT. There were shades for privacy and the view was incredible. Oh and the bed? SO COMFORTABLE!! I’ve never been on a sleep number bed, and I am now very interested in getting one for myself. This trip was perfect. I was a little concerned about being so close to the road, but I didn’t hear much traffic at all. The noise machine next to the bed was a great touch. I am super impressed with this place and all the little touches from Lori (chocolate on the pillows, checking in, she even brought us fresh robes!) were nothing short of excellent. Thank you Lori!!!!”
Our charming bungalow is located walking distance from downtown Muskegon and Muskegon Lake. Enjoy the quiet neighborhood setting while being close to all of the action that downtown has to offer. Breweries, restaurants, shopping, and the farmers market all await. If downtown isn’t your scene, the bungalow is a quick drive to Pere Marquette beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. Large, uncrowded stretches of sandy beach are the perfect place for a relaxing day in the sun.
“We loved our stay here! Not only was the cottage adorable and cozy, but it's also in a great location. We enjoyed going to the beach, the farmer's market, and Aldea coffee. Marilyn was a great communicator and super flexible and friendly. It was the perfect getaway!”
