Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the farmyard in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation was renovated to a modern standard in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-fashioned granny's house. Our farm is located in a quiet suburb of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. In our yard, there are rabbits, chickens, cats, and a dog. A trampoline, a go-kart and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill. In the summer of 2026, a yard sauna will be available.

Charming seaside cottage

The cottage is in a great location by the sea. The yard is sheltered, and there is grass for yard games, for example. From the cottage you can go directly to the rocks to admire the sea and from the rocks you can swim in calm weather. There is also a small beach very close by, where even children can swim. In addition, about a kilometer away there is a large, long and beautiful sandy beach. In summer and autumn, you will find wonderful hiking trails, great berry forests and sea buckthorn bushes on the beach. In winter, Pyhäjoki and Kalajoki have great ski trails.

There's plenty of room for a bigger group in this farmhouse! The main building has five bedrooms, 2 toilets, a bathroom and a sauna. The bedrooms are located on two floors. The smaller apartment, built later, also has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and a private sauna. There is also plenty of space for extra beds if needed. The apartments have been renovated over the years, so e.g. the modern kitchen and newly renovated laundry facilities add extra comfort to your stay.

The marina area will be built into a high-quality and maritime holiday and recreation center of the Hiekkasärkkien tourist center. This 2-story 88m2 vacation home was completed in the fall of 2023 and was commissioned in 052024.

Stay in the tranquility of the countryside in the village of Rautio. Beds are already made. If necessary, there is a sofa bed in the living room for 1-2 people.
