An ideal starting point to discover Ticino. Lake Maggiore at your feet, the valleys and the centers (Locarno, Bellinzona and Lugano) are also easily accessible by public transport. The markets in Italy are also easily accessible by car or public transport. In winter and during the cool season, I recommend the studio for one person only!

Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Beautiful Rustic Mountain Home

Relax with the whole family in this brand new "Rustico la Pezza" accommodation located in a quiet place surrounded by nature. The cottage has a terrace with views of the valley and mountains. The cottage can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes from the road. Lionza can be reached by car in 25 minutes from Ascona. It is a village located at an altitude of 800m that offers a view of all the Centovalli, being able to admire its idyllic villages and imposing mountains.

The apartment is simple, welcoming, modern but with an antique touch. Upon entering the house, there is an open space kitchen with all the necessary appliances: a table for breakfast products, a reclining sofa and a Smart TV. The room has a double bed and bunk bed with a beautiful view of the Scheggia. In the bathroom there is a comfortable shower and courtesy kit. This apartment is perfect for hosting up to four people in a modern and functional environment.

My apartment belongs to Ronco and has a magnificent view over Lake Maggiore. Distance to the village of Ronco: 10 minutes on foot. The "Cimitero" (cemetery) bus stop is 50 meters from the entrance. Ronco (353 m above sea level) has 700 inhabitants and 4 restaurants. Distance to Ascona: 15 minutes by car. The apartment was completed in 2016. It is small (28 square meters) but nice (all new high-quality equipment). This apartment is a non-smoking apartment.
