Our self-contained, well equipped Annexe is converted from cattle sheds & a horse engine room. It's light & spacious and adjoins the timber framed barn where we live. We began the conversion work in 1995. The property sits in 5.5 acres of garden, surrounded by farmland. We are 5 miles north of the historic town of Framlingham & 16 miles from Suffolk's Heritage Coast. It's a peaceful, tranquil, relaxing, quiet getaway. Suit bird watchers, walkers, cyclists, writers, artists, nature lovers .

We have ensured The Annex is suited for anyone by keeping the bedroom and all the amenities you need on the ground floor. The road is so quiet that you will hear the birds sing, especially when you sit in the private outside area in the morning sun. There is aCoOp in the town 2 garages, 4 pubs.

A holiday home made with you and your dog in mind. Relax with the log burner, blankets and a beautiful view of our farm. Drying room for your dog and large crate available. Two bedroom, two bathroom. Sleeps four (two double beds) but ideally suited to two or three guests. Cosy dressing gowns, towels and bed linen provided. Expect some wear and tear as we welcome multiple pets. Framlingham has a lovely selection of eateries and traditional pubs as well as a twice weekly farmers market that supplements this special town.

The Carter's Loft

Situated deep in the Suffolk countryside, The Carter's Loft is a beautifully presented studio bursting with charm. The popular local pub (White Horse) offers good food and local beer. There are numerous footpaths on the doorstep, a community cafe selling homemade cakes and refreshments (open 10.30 - 12.30 Wed - Thurs, occasional Sundays and some super evening events) plus our local vineyard. We are close to historic Framlingham and within easy reach of the heritage coast.

Tucked away but within a short walk of the market hill and Framlingham Castle yet only 25 minute drive from the coast. Our recently converted ground floor annexe has a Retro-Scandinavian feel comprising double bedroom with en-suite shower room and living area with sofabed and bespoke fitted kitchen. Guests will have use of part of the south facing garden and parking for one vehicle is in a shared driveway.
