Enjoy the wonderful wildlife which include bald eagles, osprey, beavers, ducks and many more. If you’re hungry, you can order delicious pizza from a real Sicilian in town or fine dine at the Accomac Inn which is just a 5 minute walk down river. Perfect road for a walk, run, or bike ride. Lovely apartment with patio. The 700 sq ft. apartment is built inside a former tobacco warehouse circa 1891. This special place is close to Hershey, York, Lancaster, and Harrisburg, making it easy to plan your visit. The Susquehanna Iron apartments are named for the rich history of 19th-century Iron Furnaces that operated between Columbia and Marietta. The industrial complex was expansive enough to rival the Iron City of Pittsburgh, earning it the title of "The Pittsburgh of the East".

TRAINS!!!!Across the street is a freight train line service. The trains are random at all hours. They are briefly loud. Otherwise this a lovely space situated along the Susquehanna. There are several restaurants close by. Close to Hershey and Lancaster Amish Country. Bike trail across the street. Cayaking on the Susquehanna River.
