The Duke of Lancaster

A complete remodel finished in August of 2020 preserved the heartwood pine floors from the 1800s and some of the original brick work but that is where the old part ends. Everything else is new as you can see in the pictures. including the all new HVAC system. We are perfectly situated close to downtown and just 5 blocks from the Convention Center. Have fun in Lancaster or just enjoy the front porch looking across to a ball field or the back balcony looking over your own private back yard.

You can't beat this neighborhood! A quick walk to restaurants, entertainment and galleries, this large renovated home has 5 ample bedrooms. Bedroom #5 now has a queen bed as well as sofa sleeper, tv and a door at one end and thick curtain at the other. enjoy the large charming courtyard with gas grill and ample seating. Built in 1850, the home's features are a visual delight and make for an elegant, comfortable and convenient location. Two free parking spaces off grounds are provided.

Located on the ground floor of our primary residence with its own separate exterior entrance, this fully equipped studio apartment was built in the original stable area of a 150 year old carriage house. Right in the middle of downtown, we have on-site parking in a safe neighborhood of high end converted warehouse condos. Smoking is not permitted anywhere. And because Lancaster has notoriously awful puppy mills, only shelter and rescued pets are welcome.
