Idyllic holiday home near World Heritage site

We are renting out an idyllically located holiday home in Kassel's prettiest district Bad Wilhelmshöhe. While centrally located near both public transport stations as well as Europe’s largest hill park "Bergpark", it's still amazingly quiet and peaceful. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance as are fields and meadows that will make you forget you're actually in a city. We offer two separate sleeping areas, a well-equipped kitchen as well as living room and space for working.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Quietly located in the heart of Hessen Our ‘small but nice’ holiday flat is located in a charming, approximately 750-year-old village near the town of Borken (Hesse). The location is ideal for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature, swimming lakes and natural surroundings. In nearby towns of Borken and Frielendorf (approx. 6 km), you will find all the major supermarkets and restaurants. Beautiful hiking trails invite you to slow down. We look forward to welcoming you!

Kassel can also be reached by public transport via the train station in Guxhagen, which is 3 km away. The Mondsee, a swimming lake, is 2.5 km away.

The location is an ideal starting point for visiting Kassel with its museums, parks, the Documenta and the fairs, but also to the half-timbered town of Melsungen, Lake Edersee or the animal parks in Knüllwald or Sababurg. From here you can take wonderful hikes in fantastic scenery. Whether as a romantic or simply cozy stay as a couple, with friends or with the family, this is the right accommodation on a beautiful farm complex with an idyllic garden.

Beautiful new apartment in the Borken Lake District

The apartment is very quiet and is barrier-free, has bed linens and towels. Pets by arrangement. Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. The A49 and thus also Kassel can be reached quickly (about 20 minutes). We are right on site and are available for more tips and help. We look forward to seeing you!

Podhouse "Rumpelstiltskin" on the Weidenäckerhof

Stay overnight on the adventure farm directly on the R1 bike path. On our small, cozy farm you will find the ideal place to escape the ordinary. In our newly built pods, you will experience a unique sleep and relaxation experience. Let your mind wander and enjoy nature in the beautiful Fulda Valley. In the cozy cottage, there is plenty of space for breakfast or just to linger. In winter, the Kota becomes a unique experience by the open fireplace.

Romantic vacation home "BERGHÄUSCHEN"

A vacation home with a garden all to yourself. Our romantic vacation home is located in the middle of nature, on a sunny, forested slope above the small village of Mühlbach. The well-kept garden, enclosed with a hedge, has many nice seating areas. In the garden there is a small pond, two beautiful large sun loungers and a grill. The beautiful view of the village and the beautiful low mountain landscape enchants every guest. One pet is allowed.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

This approx. 37 sqm cozy apartment has been renovated with a lot of love and a lot of natural building materials, so that the charm that such an old house can radiate was not lost. It offers guests a very cozy ambiance in an idyllic garden paradise. Free parking is available right in front of the house. Bikes can also be rented. Various shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity and are within walking distance.

In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.

We are a young family and offer you a lovingly furnished apartment in the district of Kassel – designed according to the motto "As for myself". The apartment includes a 20 m², partially covered terrace and a garden. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired: from spices and board games to washing machines, fly screens and care products. Quietly located, the Documenta city of Kassel is about 15 minutes away.
