You will stay in our renovated farmhouse, located in the neighborhood community 't Oventje in Zeeland (North Brabant). Our luxury B&B is an independent home with its own entrance, parking space and large garden with terrace. It has a large living room with dining area, open kitchen (cooking island) in which everything is present. In the immediate vicinity is the nature of the Maashorst and the Trentse forests where you can hike and bike. It is an ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

A forest cottage with space for 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children. There are 2 bedrooms, of which one with a double bed. The other bedroom has a single bed and a bunkbed, ideal for children who are not afraid to sleep up high. The bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink. Gemakkelijk te bereiken vanaf de snelweg, maar slechts enkele minuten lopen naar natuurpark 'De Maashorst' en dichtbij natuurpark 'Herperduin'. Beide parken zijn rijk aan wandel- en fietsroutes, en op loopafstand kun je genieten van een zwemvijver met witte stranden, en diverse visplekjes. Golfbaan "The Duke" ligt om de hoek, waar ook een leuk wandelpad begaanbaar is.

Downstairs you will find the bathroom with a rain shower. Under the veranda you can sit outside or walk into the Reekse woods for a nice walk! B&B de Smidse, is part of Smederij Franken, where traditional metalwork is still produced. Your pet is welcome, but not on the bed or sofa. Breakfast can be booked for 15.00 euros pp. The smithy is rural, good for walking and cycling, close to various nature reserves. Looking for a fun activity? Book a 3.5-hour forging workshop during your stay. You will get to work under supervision, with a drink and a snack. Costs 50 euros pp.
