Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. As a trained hotel manager, I am particularly passionate about bringing people closer to the small and great beauties of life: by spending time for themselves, with their family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, and pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Our modern vacation home (85 m²) is located on the outer edge of the idyllic NRW gold village of Benroth, in the middle of the Bergisches Land (about 50 km east of Cologne). Surrounded by forest and meadow, nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, mushroom and berry pickers will get their money's worth. An inspirational space for creative people! In a quiet location with a beautiful view of the Rhine, the log cabin is located right next to the edge of the forest. With 130 m², there is enough space in a 3-room apartment and it offers a pleasant atmosphere with a fireplace. You can explore castles via hiking trails or by boat trips in the Middle Rhine Valley, which is known for the UNESCO World Heritage. All shops, supermarkets (REWE, Lidl), restaurants as well as tourist attractions and boat docks are easily reached on foot.

Time out from everyday life in our historic accommodation. Idyllic secluded location on the edge of the forest. A car is needed as there is no connection to public transport. Wiehl center is about 3 km away with various shops, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is provided by radiators connected to our heat pump, which is powered by green electricity. A unique tranquil living space of 132sqm can comfortably accomodate 2-7 persons. Luxurious furnishings include queen size beds, leather couches, bright pool room and an inviting bar. Large glass doors open up onto wooden terraces and a koi pond. An adjacent grill under a vine-covered pergola overlooks a large (1400sqm) well-kept garden. It has a private entrance with ample parking. We welcome all races and religions. The property is easily accessible from the A3 Frankfurt - Cologne.

The detached single-family home was originally built in 1962 as a weekend house for a Frankfurt family and has been completely renovated and converted in the last three years. It has become modern, practical, efficient but also very cozy and offers an oasis of well-being of about 150 m² on 2 floors.
