There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s remote both in location and from modern life. You have space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

Superb accommodation at an amazingly affordable price with fantastic reviews. Cefn Mawr is a cosy barn conversion that sleeps 2 to 6 people with 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, a bathroom and an en suite. A further 2 guests may be accommodated using the double sofa bed in the living space. Luxurious kitchen and living space upstairs with stunning views down the valley.
