Loft Remise-Allgäu, 130 sqm, 2 bedrooms & sauna

Built in 1904, the remise was not used for almost four decades and we decided to renovate it from scratch in 2020. The transformation into a spacious residential unit with two bedrooms, an open kitchen and a spacious bathroom in the middle of the village center of a rural community. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Apartment: This is a "wood 100 apartment" completed in 2018! The entire living area was built from solid wood, clay, stone and natural insulation materials! The apartment has an area of 78 m² and consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room with couch, a kitchen-living room, a bathroom with shower, tub, sink, separate toilet, dining area and a 10 m² terrace! On the 3rd floor there is also a storage room with a washing tub!

Our apartment right on the city square is the ideal accommodation for a stay in Lindenberg im Allgäu and a perfect starting point to explore the city and its surroundings. The newly renovated and sunny apartment on the 2nd floor is ideal for up to 4 people and has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms, 1 living room, a small bathroom with shower and a spacious entrance area on approx. 90 m².

In the children's room, there is everything that makes children's hearts beat faster.

Feel-good spot

We (Bianca and Romeo) and our two girls, 11 years and 8 years, live in the same house and use the two upper floors! Since we don't need that much space, we decided to welcome guests to our "vacation apartment"! We are looking forward to it and hope for satisfied guests!
