This is the perfect place to stay with easy commutes to and from Livingston City Centre, Edinburgh and Glasgow with frequent train and bus links into the city centers. Charlotte Cottage is wheelchair friendly and comes complete with an open plan living room and kitchen with fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, built in wardrobe, TV with free view and WI-FI. The Wee Glasshouse

The Wee Glasshouse is a modern, studio apartment in the picturesque coastal location of Dalgety Bay. It’s designed to enjoy breathtaking views of the bridges and is situated on the Fife Coastal Path with its many beaches and woodlands. The Wee Glasshouse has features similar to our own house which was filmed for More 4’s ‘Building The Dream’. TV Presenter Charlie Luxton visited several times to record its progress and was aired in Jan 2017. In 2020 it featured in Scotland’s Home of the Year.

This contemporary studio is beautifully set with the famous Forth Bridges to the front and railway trail to the rear. Clever design allows the glass fronted living space to accommodate living, sleeping and cooking comfortably. The picturesque seaside town of South Queensferry is less than 10 miles from Edinburgh and has excellent transport links. If you wish to travel further Queensferry is excellently positioned to get to the rest of Scotland's attractions. Its simply a lovely place to stay!

Dovetshill Guest House

Our guest house is on the edge of our family home, in the heart of our farm of horses, pet dogs and cats! The farm is located on the edge of Livingston, 5 minutes from both Murieston South and West Calder railway stations, Edinburgh to Glasgow line. Livingston has many beautiful walks and a very large shopping centre, just minutes from us. There are many options of restaurants and take away, including our favourite walk in bakery ‘The Larder’!
