Haven of peace - the garden studio

The studio is located in Quartier Saint Catherine, the historic centre of the old fishing port of Honfleur. Just a short stroll away from the Vieux Bassin and its many bars and restaurants, it is also well placed for shopping and for visiting the town's museums and galleries. On arrival you pass through the entrance hall of my house to discover the studio tucked away at the end of a courtyard garden. The only sounds you will hear are the singing of the birds at dawn and their early evening chatter. A modern spacious room with high ceilings, it has a private shower room and a small kitchen area equipped with a microwave oven, fridge & ceramic hob for preparing light meals. There is a comfortable king size bed and a sitting area with armchairs, tv and dvd player. A single bed can be added for a third adult or child (at additional cost) and a baby cot is available. Its doors open onto a small private terrace, ideal for taking breakfast or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The studio is self catering. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided as are tea and coffee, shower gel and shampoo. HONFLEUR AND THE REGION Honfleur has a superb market every Saturday selling seasonal fruIt and vegetables, local cheeses, oysters, country ham and free range poultry. The local beach is a 10 minute walk away and the well known resorts of Trouville and Deauville are 20 minutes by car. The D Day landing beaches, the Mont Saint Michel and Monet's house at Giverny are all within a couple of hour's drive of Honfleur. A few kilometers inland is the lovely, gentle rolling countryside of the 'Pays d'Auge' famous for its cider and Calvados production and for local cheeses such as Livarot, Pont l'Evèque and Camembert.

Charming little house, on a hillside, a stone's throw from the city center, on one of the famous stairs linking lower and upper city. Quiet. Living room with kitchenette, sofa/bed, table and chairs. Bathroom WC/shower. Bedroom on the mezzanine, large double bed, sea escape. Pretty wooden terrace surrounded by brick and flint walls. Within walking distance, you're 10 minutes from the area rebuilt by famous architect A. Perret and 15 minutes from the beach. Immediate proximity to public transit.

Quiet guesthouse between Étretat and Le Havre!

Our guesthouse (completely renovated) is located at the top of the garden that borders our home. Because of this, it enjoys the calm of the forest located just behind and the (breathtaking) view of the pretty valley of Sainte-Adresse. A 100% Zen and nature base to discover Sainte-Adresse, Le Havre and the surrounding towns (Étretat, Honfleur...).! The guesthouse is at the top of a pedestrian alley that has steps unfortunately making it inaccessible to guests with reduced mobility!

You can discover the Normandy coast with its picturesque towns and villages (Veules-les-roses, Fécamp, Etretat, Honfleur), its hiking trails or discover Le Havre and its activities.
