Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Tucked away in the Suffolk countryside, our recently renovated cart lodge is a peaceful and cosy hideaway, perfect for a relaxing rural escape. The location is wonderfully convenient yet feels delightfully secluded. Pretty Suffolk villages, welcoming country pubs and local farm shops are all close by, making it easy to explore without travelling far.

The Strawberry Box - luxury eco barn conversion

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Set in an idyllically peaceful and picturesque location with open-plan living and bifold panoramic windows that open directly on to a loggia with Log Burner. There are further outdoor seating areas in the Herb Garden and Hedge Box, where you can take in the expansive skies, Suffolk is renowned for. We are only a 30 min drive from the glorious Suffolk Coast where we have a traditional Beach Hut that is available for hire in Old Felixstowe.

The Old Monkey is a tiny but a very cosy and romantic place to stay in. It has every modern convenience but retains masses of original charm and character with its ancient wattle and daub walls, beams, tiny steep staircase, lovely lime wash painted walls and a cosy open log fire. It will appeal to those on shorter breaks who want to be near a Pub, Restaurant and Shops - but still be able to go on lovely countryside walks.
