Pedestrian zone and train station are each only a few minutes walk away. The loft has a kitchenette, a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bathtub as well as a floor-level shower. The ceiling spotlights can be adjusted in color to create an individually cozy ambiance for bathing.

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Welcome to the lake house! Our small hideaway is a renovated duplex architect's house from 1964 with an open gallery, freestanding bathtub, Swedish stove, large wooden terrace and wonderfully green garden. It is equipped with furniture made of natural materials, selected vintage pieces and ceramics. Our focus is on slow living and eco travel. The lake house is an owner-managed accommodation with a lot of love for detail.

Timber construction trailer

The construction trailer made of larch wood is ideal for a romantic vacation for two. While lying in the loft bed, you can watch the stars through the large panoramic window or comfortably drink a cup of tea in front of the fireplace. In the small bathroom there is a sink and the compost toilet. In the building for the campers on the premises, you also have the possibility to shower and use a "normal" toilet.
