Rade is located on the direct border with Hamburg between Nordheide and Altes Land on the southern city border of Hamburg. In 15 minutes, you can be in the city of Hamburg via the A1. Rade belongs to the Neu Wulmstorf administrative union in the Harburg district. Rade has its own motorway exit and entrance, making it easy to find the motorway exit even for those unfamiliar with the area. The proximity to the Stuvenwald, which is partly already part of Hamburg, gives the place its rural character,

The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area with very good connections: the S-Bahn is 8 minutes' walk away and leads directly to the most important sights. The city centre and harbour can be reached by car in just 10 minutes. Parking spaces are not on the property, but are available free of charge and for an unlimited time on the roundabout directly in front of the house. Shops, restaurants, a park, playground and lake are all nearby. We look forward to your visit :-)

Lovingly refurbished detached house with 80m² of living space has been inviting families to relax since November 2019, whether for a cozy weekend or a tour of the Lauenburg Lake District and the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. Large living/dining area, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, veranda and a cozy garden with large terrace (see photos). The location is ideal for day trips: approx. 25min to Lübeck, 40min to Schwerin, 45min to the Baltic Sea beach or 50min to Hamburg City.

The terrace invites you to sunbathe and barbecue. Parking in the public parking garage (200 m) is free. Bicycles are safe on the premises. Jogging and walking start right at the front door on the Trave hiking trail. Downtown is around the corner.

There is a bus line to Hamburg-Harburg or Winsen Luhe. 5 km from the Hoopte ferry terminal and 5 minutes' walk to the beautiful Seeve nature reserve.
