Welcome to the most beautiful/zen place Private house on Nakomis Island on Papakeechie Lake. This place does not feel like it is in Indiana. Porch faces east🔥. It is our favorite spot. Living here temporarily on blackout dates so most common supplies are full and available to use. No outside watercraft of any kind without approval. No motors allow. There are kayaks here to use for free. This is a private lake and we care a lot about our neighbors and the lake and keeping it a slice of Heaven

25-foot Pontoon available for rent. Back lot for boat trailers and parking. Spacious main floor is wide open concept with windows across the front to view the action out on the lake. Even if you are in the kitchen, you are still in conversations. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for families to have privacy and get a good night’s sleep. 4 of 5 bedrooms have a vanity / sink for the little things like brushing your teeth or freshening up. Two of the bedrooms have a full bathroom attached.

Enjoy the wildlife, swans, beaver, otter, the pair of bald eagles that reside on Palastine Lake. Enjoy the newly renovated inside space, centered around comfort and relaxation. A comfortable bed with soft sheets. Knead your worries behind on the heated massage chair. Enjoy a warm fire either outside on the deck or the inside wood burning fireplace. Grab the smores and have a blast telling stories around the camp fire. The kids will feel like they're camping, especially sleeping in the loft! Cozy up on chilly nights next to the indoor fireplace.

Lake Wawasee is the largest natural lake in Indiana. It offers great skiing and fishing, 3 restaurants you can enjoy by boat and the best sunrise/sunset boat cruises you can imagine. The house is only 5 minutes from either Syracuse or North Webster to check out the local shopping boutiques and farmers markets.
