Private Redmond Cottage in the Woods

Our family home sits on 3 1/2 acres, surrounded by trees, and bordered on one side by a 10 acre natural area of forest. The little A-frame, a separate building nestled in the woods behind our garage, is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The Hilton it is not, a little rough around the edges, but clean, warm and cozy. It has electric heat, a fan and screened windows keep it cool. Your personal bathroom is located in the enclosed garage a few steps from the Aframe.

Quiet Mother-in-law apartment on hobby farm

The apartment is attached to the back of my residence. It is centrally located, 10 minutes from Duvall and Carnation and 30 minutes from Redmond, Woodinville, Monroe and Snoqualmie. The driveway is gravel so be prepared for a little dirt and/or dust outside. There are hiking and biking trails, as well as Tolt and Snoqualmie rivers for outdoor enthusiasts. I have started a hobby farm with goats, chickens and ducks for you to view. Therefore you can expect dirt and odors common to a farm.

Woodpecker Glen is a brand-new guest house in one of Washington's temperate rain forests. The house has a cabin feel with cathedral ceiling and open floor plan plus lots of natural light in a peaceful, quiet location. The back yard is Tolt MacDonald Park, 574 acres, a favorite for mountain bikers and trail walkers alike. Located high up on a hill on two acres with magnificent views of nature and the Valley given the different times of the year. We are about a 30 second drive to hop onto the Snoqualmie Valley Trail for a bike ride, walk thru nature or bird watching. I wanted to create a funky and beautiful space that makes you feel excited about coming back to after your adventures and doesn't break the bank so you can enjoy all that the area has to offer.
