Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.

We only rent for part of the season and hope that your families can create wonderful memories here too. For over 100 years our family has been coming here, and there are other family cabins along the lake. Close to the Ironton Ferry which takes you to Charlevoix or a short drive into Boyne City. Perfect summer place to enjoy the lake and watch the boats go by. Open year round to enjoy the winter activities. House accommodates 4 adults and 2 children.

There are 3 beaches within 3 miles of the home. Nubs Knob and the Boyne resorts are within 30 minutes. The home was recently remodeled and is fully equipped. The home does have well water. The small faucet at the kitchen sink provides pure RO water for drinking and cooking.
