I am an Artist / Photographer born in Kyoto I started hosting because I love meeting people from all over the world and making new friends. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

築約100年の古民家です。立派な梁や柱、土間があり昔なつかしの日本を体感していただけます。 車で5分の所にスーパーのマックスバリュがあります。 車で3分の所にコンビニがあります。 ダブルベッドが2台あり、 敷布団 4組用意出来ます。 洗濯機（屋外）あります。 ホストは「古木のある家」から約200mの所に住んでいます。 レンタル電動アシスト自転車で 田園風景、里山、鳥のさえずり、川のせせらぎ、地元の人々が守ってきた歴史ある小さな神社やお寺の周遊がお勧めです。 日本土木遺産のメガネ橋、ねじり橋 日本山岳遺産の竜ヶ岳 花の百名山の1つ藤原岳 天然記念物の川魚「ネコギギ」を飼育する藤原文化センター メールにて滞在目的をお伝え下さいますと、他にも沢山ある地元の情報をお伝え出来ます。 1933年生まれの義父の両親が建てた家です。 宿を始める前は8年間空き家でした。皆様が宿泊してくださるお陰で少しずつ少しずつ修繕することが出来ています。日本の美しい技術と文化である古民家を未来に残したい、1人でも多くの方に触れて頂きたい。そんな思いでしております。

江戸時代の土蔵を貸し切り。コンビニ近くの隠れ家でゆったりと過ごす。

江戸時代に建てられた２階建ての土蔵を改装し、ゲストハウスとしました。 広くはないですが、土壁や太い梁など土蔵の雰囲気を残しながら、１階にIHクッキングヒーター付きのキッチンを設置。１階、２階にエアコンを完備し、快適に過ごせます。 土蔵ならではの遮音性や夏の涼しさ、冬の暖かさを体験いただけます。 ご希望であれば、挽きたての豆で淹れる珈琲をご賞味ください。 車で１５分程度のところに姉川温泉、いぶき薬草湯があります。姉川温泉は回数券をご提供できます（一般価格より割安で）。送迎についてはご相談下さい。 周辺はたびたび歴史の舞台となった長浜ならではの観光スポットが多くあります。 国宝の彦根城や豊臣秀吉の長浜城、石田三成の生誕地、日本屈指の山城・小谷城、合戦の地・賤ヶ岳、など。また関ケ原合戦地までは車で２０分足らずです。 琵琶湖周辺のほか、日本最古の鉄道駅舎・長浜鉄道スクエアや子供も遊べるヤンマーミュージアム、黒壁スクエアなど歴史以外の楽しみもいっぱいです。 近江牛、鴨料理、焼鯖そうめん、のっぺいうどん、サラダパンや鴨、小鮎などグルメも楽しめます。

We have Japanese traditional house “Machiya” those are cozy and beautiful accommodations. Machiya is the historic buildings of Kyoto You can rent entire my house without interference from any other people There are a lot of famous temples Within walking distance It’s very convenient location just walking to 5min from kinnkaku-ji-yu(hot springs),convenience store,Liquor store,sushi shop When you check in , I will pick you up at kyoto station. and show you my neighborhood

Traditional Terrace House. Private open-air bath.

Kyo-machiya is a traditional Kyoto architectural style. It is a consecutive style townhouse, a maisonette type terrace one. An entire one. Quiet place. It has two bedrooms with each full bathroom, and a full kitchen. Smoking is allowed on the balcony of 2nd floor only. Capacity 5 adults. In addition, up to 2 infants who do not require a bed can stay free of charge. Accommodation tax is required. Check in time is 3 Ppm - 9 pm. Check out time is 10 am, free out system.

Lake Biwa Lakeside villa

We have a Canadian house, just a stone through away from the beautiful Lake Biwa. Suitable place to stay for family trip, with friends and work trip. For 7guests or less, we rent 3 bed rooms (with 8 beds) For 8guests or more, we can rent the extra cabin space which is still part of the building but usually there is no access.(5 bed rooms and an attic, 12 beds and extra bathroom) please see photos and enquire within. - No Party - No BBQ after 9pm

Tabitabi「Taishi」

「Tabitabi Taishi」 remodeled from a traditional Japanese-style [Machiya]. It is designed with a lot of hand-dyed Japanese style Tang paper, wallpapers made of tin and gold foils, and other traditional Japanese crafts and elements. We also retain the original properties of the machiya. Here, you can experience the original and traditional Japan, and also you can feel the ingenuity of combining modern elements with traditional craftsmanship.
