This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. You can get to Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route Entrance and Tateyama Station in about 10 minutes by car. It is a 5-minute drive to the Tateyama Fuki Ski Resort.Ideal for skiing and snowboarding. Also, take a snowshoe walk around the piste!

This accommodation is a private rental, limited to one group per day. Itakura no Yado Shirakuri is a small old traditional house inn started by an owner who loves traditional houses. Itakura was relocated from the foot of Mt. Norikura and opened in June 2016. I hope that you will be able to feel the atmosphere of Itakura which is not found in everyday life.
