Mökki means 'cottage' in the Nordic language of Finnish. Please enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-machi, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. Nearby are the natural wonders of the Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi. You are free to use the entire property, including the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden with its seasonal scenery, and the forest with its flowing stream.In the forest, which has been well maintained, you can see birds, squirrels and martens, and you can enjoy walks looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We have also paid close attention to the interior design of the rooms and the kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy 'living'. In the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or a bonfire without worrying about the weather. It's ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding and golf during the green season, and for winter sports during the snow season. As for the location, you can walk to the coast in 1 minute and enjoy the beautiful view of Toyama Bay and the majestic Tateyama mountain range, which is over 3000 meters high. Firefly squid sightseeing in early spring is also famous. The nearest station is an 8-minute walk to Nameri Station (Ainokaze Railway, Toyama Railway), and 9 minutes by car to the Nameri Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway, with good access to Toyama Prefecture, Hokuriku, and the surrounding Gifu, Nagano, and Niigata prefectures. Accommodates up to 8 people. Nearby, there are fish shops and taverns where you can eat delicious fish from Toyama Bay, a natural fish tank, at affordable prices, as well as unique cafes and sweet shops. Public baths such as the Showa hidden hot spring "Shioyu", famous for its high temperature, and "Airabuyu", where you can enjoy deep ocean water, are also within walking distance.

Please take your time to rest and relax. There's a tent in the room, so you don't have to worry about the weather or insects! You can also create a slightly magical and fun space where you can enjoy the outdoors while lounging around. An exciting time, as if you were in a secret base. Please enjoy the feeling of camping at home. I'll lay a futon inside the tent. As it can accommodate up to 8 people, It's also recommended for trips with friends or family. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
