Cottage and beach sauna in Päijänne

A lovely cottage on the shore of Lake Päijänne offers peace and quiet in nature and comfort for up to 8 people. The premises consist of the main building, a new barn building and a lakeside sauna. There is a toilet and running water in the main building. The renovated wooden sauna and gently sloping beach are ideal for families. A barbecue, a muurikka, an electric smoker, a rowing boat and fishing gear complete the equipment. The main cabin, which was completed in the 1960s, has been cold in the winter, so the traditional smell and atmosphere of the cottage are a part of it.

A winterized cottage with all the comforts on the lake shore. The cottage's upstairs and downstairs bedroom have double beds and the living room has a sofa that can be spread out to a double bed. The outbuilding has a wood-burning sauna and a sleeping loft with a double bed. (Bath barrel extra charge). Gas grill and wood-fired grill can be found in the yard and you can sit under the lean-to. Easy to get to by public transport. Skating rink in Vesankajärvi in winter and a sledding track. Disc golf course Vesala monttu 2 km, Petäjävesi 20 km. Laajavuori 9 km.

Warmly welcome to Halssila, Jyväskylä, a distinctive and idyllic residential area! Maple blossom is a hundred-year-old adorable pink little house in our yard. In summer, you can see lush greenery and the branches of the yard maple through the windows, while in winter, the nearby Lake Jyväsjärvi glistens on the horizon. As our guest, you can enjoy peace and quiet in the cosy surroundings of our small house (40 m²). From the motorway, you can reach our property by car in a few minutes; we are 3.5 km from the centre of Jyväskylä.

Idyllic log cabin in the tranquility of the countryside, about a 20-minute drive from Jyväskylä. The cottage has all the basic amenities; indoor toilet, kitchen and wood-heated sauna. Excellent hiking terrain for both two-legged and four-legged. Mushroom and berry lands start in the backyard. The cottage sleeps six and the barn has two extra beds. Electric heating + fireplace with wood. Large yard and space to camp. Nearby there is a Disc Golf Course, Vesala's Monttu about 4 km. Track length 18 fairways (2285m) AA1 rating.

The courtyard has a main cabin, a barn and a sauna building with a separate sleeping area. Accommodation is therefore available in three different buildings, which guarantees everyone their own peace and quiet, even with a larger group. Use of the hot tub is included in the rental price (self-heating). A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.
