*PURE NATURE* Forest cottage at the farmhouse in the countryside

We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Our modernized winery is located 250 m above the Moselle with a beautiful view opposite the house on the Moselle loop near Traben-Trarbach. The apartment i.e. 2 people costs 55, - Euro . It is the ideal starting point for hikes - you are immediately in the vineyards and the surrounding forests and can admire the most beautiful sunsets from here. The ascent to the remains of the Starkenburg is just around the corner, also with a fantastic view.
