Yu Unagi, an old house, is an important 130-year-old traditional building where you can enjoy the original scenery of Japan.The surrounding trees and stone walls have also been designated as an important preservation district for traditional buildings, and Kaga Higashiya has a history of charcoal grilling that flourished from the Meiji period to the Showa period.Red tiled farmers remain in the area and are protected as an important traditional building group preservation district of the country along with the natural environment. In the old house, you can use only one group per day, and you can enjoy nature and culture in a quiet environment with a field of 1000 m ².In the garden, there are nature walks, vegetable harvesting, bonfires, and many traditional crafts such as earthen walls, stucco walls, kutani ware, and mountain lacquerware are used.It is also fully equipped with wooden toys and baby goods for children, making it suitable for families. The interior is designed to feel the Taisho period of Japan (1912-1926)!You can enjoy a room with antique lighting and furniture that matches the era. Outside the living room, there is a traditional garden that feels the four seasons, and the time to sit on the sofa and watch is exceptional!It is lit up at night and the sound of the water echoes quietly. There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, and can accommodate up to 5 people! Please use a low bed or futon when sleeping!Enjoy a Japanese lifestyle! The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, simple cookware, and dishes. As an amenity, we have shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels, toothpaste, and slippers. There is air conditioning in the living room on the first floor and in the bedroom on the second floor! There is no washing machine, but "Shirakiku Laundry" is a 1-minute walk away! If you come by car, there is a paid coin parking lot in front of the building, so I can guide you! We await your visit!!
