Cottage and beach sauna in Päijänne

A lovely cottage on the shore of Lake Päijänne offers peace and quiet in nature and comfort for up to 8 people. The premises consist of the main building, a new barn building and a lakeside sauna. There is a toilet and running water in the main building. The renovated wooden sauna and gently sloping beach are ideal for families. A barbecue, a muurikka, an electric smoker, a rowing boat and fishing gear complete the equipment. The main cabin, which was completed in the 1960s, has been cold in the winter, so the traditional smell and atmosphere of the cottage are a part of it.

You can enjoy the sounds of nature while staying on the large terraces of this unique home on the beach, where the sun shines all day from morning to night. Tule rentoutumaan rauhalliseen ja kodikkaaseen mökkiin perheen, ystävien tai vaikka pienen työporukan kanssa. Mökki sijaitsee rauhallisella paikalla, mutta silti lähellä Himoksen tekemistä ja menoa. Lähimmät laskettelurinteet ovat noin 3 km päässä ja keskukseen on matkaa noin 6 km. Viikonloppuisin voi käydä Himos Areenalla kuuntelemassa artisteja ja nauttimassa hyvästä tunnelmasta. Kesällä uimapaikka löytyy noin 300 m päästä, joten aamu-uinnille pääsee helposti. Tekemistä riittää ympäri vuoden!

Good transport connections. 2-4 km to Säynätsalo's services and Alvar Aalto's destinations, 0.3 km to the bus stop. Good game/playing opportunities in the school yard nearby. 2 Sup-boards, kayak, trampoline. The nearest swimming beach is 500m away, the kayaking/supboard access is 150m away.

The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
