Get away from everyday life, enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage, which is located in the courtyard of our house, but completely in its own peace. The comfortable 160 cm wide bed offers space for two adults. Heat your own wood-fired sauna, relax on the terrace or by the campfire in a lean-to. Admire the starry sky or the northern lights far from the city lights. On a winter morning, you can walk on beautiful snowy forest trails, listen to the silence of nature, and breathe in the fresh air.

You can only enjoy ready meals. Fireplace/shelter on the beach. Parking space in the yard. In winter, you can walk on the ice. 17 km to the airport, 13 km to the nearest City market and 17 km to the city center. The host lives in the same yard. Guests are allowed to move freely in the yard. The neighbors' yards are private.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

You can enjoy the nature and scenery to the river during your stay. While you are enjoying the sauna or outdoor jacuzzi, you might have chance to see the northern lights. This mini house can accommodate 4 people comfortably but we have beds even for 6. It has full kitchen and living room with windows facing river, sauna, shower, toilet and two bedrooms with big windows facing the forest. Outside it has two spacious terrace's, one with jacuzzi. The building has just been completed.

There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
