Our apartment with garden is located in the historic center of Oberkaufungen and directly on a walking and cycling path. It is located in a half-timbered house with a view of the collegiate church and the Kaufung Forest. The tram to Kassel takes about 10 minutes. The apartment is well suited for a family of 4, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with 2 single beds. In the apartment there is a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, kettle, coffee maker and toaster). Pets are welcome by arrangement and cost 1x 10 euros more.

Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood in Lohfelden, close to Kassel. The natural surroundings invite you to hike and bike. In the village there are many shops, swimming pool, restaurants, ice cream parlors, pharmacies, doctors, etc. Kassel city center is a short drive away. 10 minutes by car or by bus in approx. 15 minutes. It takes about 5 minutes. Beautiful bike paths lead through the Aue to Kassel. The A7, A44, A49 highways are within easy reach.

The newly renovated, comfortable studio is on the ground floor of a traditional half-timbered house (Fachwerkhaus). It offers about 32.00 square meters of living / dining room with sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed, a small fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The studio can be occupied by 1-4 people. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure good lighting and an attractive view of the quiet, green garden, in which there is a separate seat that belongs to the studio.

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Various shopping facilities are in the immediate vicinity and are within walking distance.

Quietly located, the Documenta city of Kassel is about 15 minutes away.

Our small apartment is very quietly located on the outskirts of Kaufungen. From the living room and bedroom  you have a good view of the Kassel landmark, the Hercules.  The apartment consists of a bedroom with two single beds and TV. The adjoining room has a well-equipped kitchenette including microwave and small oven. There is a TV, couch, dining area and a bed. There is a possibility to set up a 4th bed.

It is an ideal starting point for wonderful hikes over the Grimmsteig and various premium hiking trails in beautiful North Hesse. Our "Bauhaus" is located in the documenta city centre - all museums are in the immediate vicinity - bus and tram are 7 +- minutes away - and Karlsaue Park is also within walking distance (fantastic for joggers!). From the large terrace you can enjoy beautiful views of the city and the landmark of the city - the Hercules - our World Heritage Site!
