The floors on each floor are made of cypress from Yoshino, Nara, the same material used in the construction of Horyuji Temple. It can accommodate up to 9 guests. It is also recommended for stays with friends, such as "adult school trips", creative training camps, and travelers who love architecture. There are supermarkets, cafes, Chinese restaurants, dango shops, specialty bakeries, Japanese restaurants that have won Michelin stars, famous confectionery shops, and other urban areas nearby. On the other hand, there are also quiet landscapes dotted with the old charm of Madara, where you can enjoy a relaxing stroll. Nakamiya-ji Temple, which has a national treasure, the Half-Recumbent Buddha, Hoki-ji Temple, a World Heritage site alongside Horyu-ji Temple, Jikoin Temple, which has a magnificent view overlooking the Daiheino Plain, and Mt. Sanshitsu and the Tatsuta River, which were also mentioned in the Hyakunin Isshu, are also nearby. Enjoy the town surrounded by historic Tsukiji walls in the clear early morning air, and experience Madarao as if you had your own home there. Although the inn is conveniently located along the national highway, it is not recommended for those who are sensitive to noise and vibration. You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. There is no TV or wifi, so why not turn off your digital devices and turn on your own sensibilities? Enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, such as the rustling of makomo leaves, the babbling of the river, the chirping of birds, the chorus of frogs, and the sound of deer.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. It is a guesthouse which renovated an old Japanese house. It is located in the suburbs of Osaka. It takes you 20 minutes from the centre of Osaka by train. It is very convenient to get to Osaka and Nara. As there are plenty of ruins and old houses nearby, we recommend cycling to see them. Of course, you can borrow a bicycle. Within walking distance there are wineries and traditional houses so you can enjoy town walking.
