While the retro charm unique to a traditional kominka house has been preserved, the wet areas have been renovated with new fixtures and feel clean and fresh. Nearby, you can enjoy a stroll through the Kawaramachi area, which is lined with cafés and bakeries housed in renovated traditional machiya townhouses, or along the Nagaragawa River, which is famous for cormorant fishing. It is a charming area with lots of nature and fields. Experience the nostalgic life of real Japan, not Japan that was made. The convenience store is about a 4-minute drive away. The cottage is located on the banks of the clear Marukawa River. Gifu is famous for Shirakawago and Hida Takayama, but Enbara is also a nice place in the mountains, although it is inconvenient. The scenery of the mountains and rivers is beautiful, and it is a place rich in nature where monkeys and deer appear. The Enbara River is known as the most beautiful underground water in Japan and a famous spot for its light, and the inn is located about 800 meters from the spring water point of the underground water, so the water transparency is excellent. You can also see the light from the inn. On summer mornings, depending on the weather conditions, you can see a magical view of the sunlight pouring through the trees. The water in the Marukara River is cold, but in summer the children play in the river energetically. The riverbed is much cooler, so people can escape the heat and cool off. A little downstream there are several river play spots, and the water is clear everywhere and it feels good to swim beautifully. The water of the river shines emerald green in a slightly deep place, and the scenery of rocks and moss is also wonderful, and it is a healing spot where the mind is purified. There is a deck facing the river on the second floor of the inn, so you can relax while watching the river, BBQ, swing in a hammock while listening to the river, or refresh yourself in the tent sauna.

If you relax in a bathtub surrounded by natural stone, it's like being in a hidden hot spring inn. At night, the illuminated garden creates a fantastic atmosphere. The Japanese-style room has a veranda and a fluffy futon. We also recommend enjoying tea while looking out at the Japanese garden from the wooden deck. In the morning, the birds chirp, in the afternoon, the quiet heals you, and in the evening, you are wrapped in hot steam and your heart is relaxed. The kitchen is fully equipped with basic facilities such as a rice cooker, microwave, and refrigerator. There are also convenience stores and restaurants within a 10-minute walk, so there are no daily inconveniences.
