The morning in Saunatonttu begins with the mist rising from the surface of the lake. You may hear the roar of a nearby rapid. You can spend the day on a boat fishing, exploring the nearby area by canoe, or enjoying the sun on the jetty. In summer, the magic of Lapland reveals itself in the midnight sun. The sun lingers on the horizon throughout the night and the surface of the lake glows golden. When autumn arrives, the dark evenings bring with them the opportunity to admire the Northern Lights directly from the beach. The gentle heat of the lakeside sauna and a refreshing swim are the perfect way to end the day. 🌲🔥🌅✨

The cottage is located in the forest for 30 minutes from the airport/Santa Claus village, on the magnificent Kemijoki River. Here, you'll get to experience the nature, starry sky, and forest of the real Lapland. The cottage has drinking water and electricity, as well as electric heaters. Wood-burning sauna. The kitchen and dining area of the cottage are well-equipped. By separate agreement, I offer activities: a private 3-hour excursion for €90 per person, breakfast for €15 per person, and Loimu salmon cooked over a campfire for €60 per person. I stay in the yard, and I'm available if needed.

We offer accommodation in connection with our cottage on the beautiful shore of Kemijärvi. The price of the accommodation includes the use of a sleeping cabin, a separate kitchen cabin, a sauna and an outdoor toilet. The cottage is located 12 km from the center of Kemijärvi. Beds for two in a log cabin. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The host will take care of the drinking water in the kitchen. Wood-burning stove. Washing in the sauna, use shifts will be agreed with the host. The hosts use other buildings. Additional charge for hot tub €80

Porotieva - Reindeer Retreat Lakeside

Private new beach cottage on a large plot, amphitheater-like location on the shores of the very clean Lake Livojärvi, on the Lapland Riviera. Two saunas (wood-heated and electric-heated) and a hot tub. You may see reindeer right in the yard of the cottage. During the summer season (May to August), we offer two SUP boards, a boat and fishing gear. During the winter season, we offer a few snowshoes, skis and poles for skiing, as well as fishing equipment for ice fishing. The property has a hill and stairs.
