Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Sup boards and kayaks are free to use. Possible to rent a rowing boat, jetski, etc. Plenty of 30 e with lake water, hot tub 30 e. Outdoor. On the beach, a barbecue area and open freely available. Beautiful log house on the beach in Pielinen. Peaceful location, stunning scenery, and great outdoor activities best describe this home. In winter, the ski track can be reached from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski trails of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage.
