When you return to the accommodation, relax in two types of saunas and a cold plunge pool. In the evening, relax in the warm interior and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside. Although it's an entire house rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, it's also recommended for couples or small groups staying for consecutive nights. There is also a washing machine and bathroom dryer, making it comfortable even for stays of 3 nights or more. Go to a different place every day, such as Hakuba, Matsumoto, Narai-juku, Togakushi, Azumino, Omachi, and even Hida Takayama, and then return to the same accommodation in the evening to relax in the sauna. Please use it as a base for a leisurely trip around Nagano. You can also get here by public transport, but it is more convenient if you have a car. Free shuttle service is available to and from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Minga Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services, as well as sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services, are available for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, for journeys of up to 2 hours each way. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-machi, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. Nearby are the natural wonders of the Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi. You are free to use the entire property, including the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden with its seasonal scenery, and the forest with its flowing stream.In the forest, which has been well maintained, you can see birds, squirrels and martens, and you can enjoy walks looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
