Welcome to this cozy country idyll where you are surrounded by horse pastures. The calm. The silence. The beauty of the surrounding forests. Here you get close to both animals and fantastic nature. On the farm there are horses, cats, chickens and a small companion dog. Beyond the natural pastures are the wild animals. However, no bears or wolves :-) The luxury is in the environment. The small house is equipped for self-catering, but we offer breakfast basket and other supplies on request. Please let us know your wishes well in advance.

The wooden house

Träskhuset is an architect-designed house built in 2023. It is built of cross-glued wood and stands on posts in a swamp with the beech forest as the closest neighbor. In winter, you are surrounded by water, in summer, high vegetation. Here you live in a stylish house overlooking the forest. Design by Sorgenfri Build Concept. Free parking on a shared driveway. Electric vehicle charging available. The house is about 50 meters from our own house. Happy children's screams can therefore sometimes be heard nearby.

We have built the lodge with the purpose to have place that solitude with nature. Place to relax from the busy world and get into the rhythm of the wild. Wild life and nature in the area is mesmerising with no dangerous animals (no bears or wolves). Additionally, we have lovely sheep grassing in the field next to the cabin. Lodge is located away from the main house and the road, what gives full privacy in peace and silence. It is equipped with everything necessary to welcome quests.

Welcome to our cozy wooden cottage. In the peaceful central Skåne countryside, it’s the perfect base to explore natures, forests and towns. The cottage has a kitchen, bathroom, private sauna and comfy beds. Family-friendly, animal-friendly, and surrounded by nature. A simple, charming place to relax, reconnect and discover Skåne at your own pace. The cabin is placed on a small family farm with horses, hens, cats, dogs and open views.
