The living room & kitchen have a breathtaking view of the lake that includes the harbor. There are two full-sized bedrooms, one with king bed & one with queen, each of which have lots of closet space. There is also a smaller room with bunk bed. Central heat. Good wifi. Our peaceful 5-bedroom lakefront home is 4 miles from Houghton and is conveniently located near the airport, Michigan Tech, Mont Ripley (3 miles) and Mount Bohemia (38 miles). Snowmobile trails are only 1/3rd of a mile away and you can ride your sled from here. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake, kayaking, and campfires on the patio. Our area is full of history and charm. Come visit! Parking for 3 trucks, plus trailers. Please Note: We charge $10 per night per person over 2 people.

Rest, relax and unwind. Welcome to Simply Superior Cottage located on beautiful Lake Superior on Big Traverse Bay. Private sandy beach along with a beautiful sunrise. Cottage has just been completely remodeled, along with a large enclosed sun room. Your just steps away from a dive into refreshing Lake Superior, sauna allows for a bit more heat to help that dive along. Cottage is located 2 miles from a boat launch, with snowmobile trails nearby, Mt Bohemia ski resort is 19 miles away.

Otter House

Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. Canoe up the Otter River or Kayak down to the dam. You will see eagles, beavers, turtles, loons, geese and if you're lucky an otter. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer.

Waterfront in Houghton

This 4 bedroom 2 bath home is located next to chutes and ladders located on portage canal next to Houghton beach, Chutes & Ladders, and Houghton public docks. Home is a short walk to Michigan Tech and historic downtown. There are two kayaks and 2 bikes available for you to use and explore the canal or downtown. We love dogs and do welcome them but do charge extra. Please send me any questions. Auto booking opens 1 year in advance. please do not send a request earlier.

We are approximately 4.8 miles from the Dollar Bay Snow Mobile Trailhead, Great snowshoeing around the property as well. cottage is on a shared driveway with owners. About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.
