Sleeping places in the countryside, bakery, homestay

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

The location is ideal for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet, nature, swimming lakes and natural surroundings. The apartment is very quiet and is barrier-free, has bed linens and towels. Pets by arrangement. Just around the corner are Homberg (Efze) with the Hohenburg, the cathedral town of Fritzlar, the Edersee, the Singliser See, the Silbersee and many other beautiful lakes and nature reserves. The A49 and thus also Kassel can be reached quickly (about 20 minutes). We are right on site and are available for more tips and help. We look forward to seeing you!

In the cold season, make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace, in the brand new infrared sauna or by the campfire.

A modern open spiral staircase connects both floors. In our vacation apartment "Fachwerk 44" in Frielendorf in the Rotkäppchenland you live in a cozy half-timbered atmosphere in a large one-room apartment with attention to detail. The apartment is located on the 1st floor of our large residential house. A shared entrance and hallway lead to the apartment. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook and enjoy together with its freestanding kitchen island and dining area.

In the idyllic village Königshagen you will find our beautifully restored half-timbered farmhouse. The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Ideal for walking and tranquility.   The house is very luxurious: three saunas, two bathrooms, pool table and much more! There’s lots to do in the area. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
