The holiday home Haus am Reithagen is located in Hofgeismar and is the ideal accommodation for a relaxing getaway. The 100 m² property consists of a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom as well as an additional toilet and can therefore accommodate 6 people. We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophise, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Our apartment is lovingly decorated, located on the 1st floor and is about 50 square meters. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a cozy sitting area. The bedroom has a 180 x 200 double bed and in the living room there is another sleeping accommodation, a 140 x 200 bed. Right next to the apartment is a large roof terrace with beautiful views, which is for your use only. The historic city center, supermarket and train station are within walking distance.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

The village is beautifully situated at 360 meters above sea level, right on the edge of the vast Habichtswald. Especially around the Nationalpark Kellerwald-Edersee.
