Geisfeld is only 10 minutes from Bamberg - the beer city with the famous Rauchbier (Schlenkerla). The old town in the sand area offers beautiful rustic pubs and Little Venice. Franconian Switzerland offers more than 4,500 km of hiking trails through graceful valleys and rocky landscapes. Some caves guarantee an experience for the whole family with their fascinating underworld.

Our charming townhouse from the 19th century is in the heart of the Middle Franconian small town of Lauf a.d. Pegnitz right next to the historic Wenzelschloss. It combines old sandstone walls with an urban lifestyle. In the immediate walking distance is the city center with good shopping, top restaurants and cafes. In about 25 minutes you can reach the city center of Nuremberg, the airport or the Nuremberg fairgrounds. The hiking paradise of Franconian Switzerland is also not too far away.

Here you will find not only a charming accommodation, but also the perfect starting point for hiking, biking or simply relaxing days in nature. In addition to its historic old town, Scheßlitz also offers you all the necessities of daily life. In a few minutes you can reach Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage City with a unique flair. The new holiday apartment is located in Oberngrub, the gateway to Franconian Switzerland. In the attic of a detached house, there are 3 rooms for a maximum of 5 people. The quiet area is ideally suited as a starting point. Free parking is available right in front of the house. A covered parking space for bicycles is also available. No pets allowed. Smoking is not allowed in the whole house, but is allowed on the balcony at any time.
