The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Take a different turning to our cosy retreat -

To truly get away from it all, we have thoughtfully installed no WiFi or TV! This is a different experience - games, jigsaws, CD player and radio. The barn is made out of straw bales so the acoustics are good! We are five minutes into Sheffield and five minutes to the Peak District, and have lovely walks straight from your door. And wild swimming 5 mins down the wood.
