The Tarka Suite

We live in a quiet location situated on the outskirts of Barnstaple, tucked away in a quiet residential area. Nearest amenities are approx 15 min walk. “The Tarka suite”is made up of 3 seperate rooms plus a covered garden room with electric points. There is a king sized bed, 2 seater sofa, a small dining area and small well equipped kitchen area which includes a std fridge, a ninja twin drawer acti fry and single hob. Crockery, pans and cutlery are provided. Use of hot tub at extra cost.

A spacious and characteristic barn conversion which sleeps up to 5 guests and includes a hot tub. Set in the Taw Valley over looking Codden Hill, near to Barnstaple and the North Devon beaches. The cottage is set in a rural location, so very peaceful but only a mile off the Barnstaple to Exeter main road so easily accessible to the North Devon coastal areas and Exmoor National Park. The cottage lies in the courtyard of the main thatched farmhouse and is on a working sheep farm.

There are cycle and footpaths at the end of the road giving off road access to the Tarka Trail.

There are six good sized bedrooms, five of which have zip and link beds, which can be set up as either super-king double beds, or two luxury singles, allowing for plenty of flexibility in accommodation.

We are near world-renowned surf beaches and there are excellent walks both by the sea or further afield on Exmoor. Otherwise, you could just put your feet up, relax and admire the view!
