Jack Jr.-a little place in the woods

Jack Jr is tucked away at the edge of the woods up on the hill of the historical city of Newaygo. This space was created to be a getaway from all the hustle bustle with a .5 mile trek (walk/bike/drive) into the town of Newaygo or its many surrounding adventures. Bike or hike the Dragon Trail, visit the Newaygo Brewery or Market 41, fish the Muskegon River or any of the multiple surrounding bodies of water we have. Float the river in the summer or hit the snowmobile trails in the winter.

Paradise Resort is a small family owned Resort on the Muskegon River near Newaygo and Croton Township. Located on the river between the Hardy and Croton Dams. 8 miles from US 131, near Big Rapids, White Cloud, Fremont or Newaygo. Boating and fishing is in abundance. Tubing the river is a favorite, and the new Dragon Trail is less than a mile from our Resort. Our rooms are spotlessly clean, and our guests love it here. Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).
