Timmerstuga Seskarö

Cozy log cabin in a peaceful setting. Experience the tranquility of the forest and the glitz of the morning sun over the sea. The cottage is rustic with outdoor toilet and cold/summer water in the kitchen. The cabin does not have a shower/bathtub. In summer, it is possible to rent a sauna at Leppäniemikajen on Seskarö, about 3 km from the cabin. Two nice beaches within 300 meters distance. Seskarö offers a grocery store. 28 km from Seskarö there are the border towns of Haparanda and Torneå which offer shopping and other activities.

Relax along the beautiful Kemijoki River in a nice log cabin from 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a barbecue hut and a sauna terrace. After the sauna, jump from the sandy beach into the fresh water of the Kemijoki River. On the beach, there is another sauna and a hot tub, which can be rented separately in the summer, as well as a gazebo, a barbecue area and a rowboat. Indoors consist of an identification, open kitchen, bedroom, dressing room, laundry room, sauna. The house is about 90m2 and guests have access to the entire cottage and secluded yard. Spend your holiday in a quiet detached area near the Bothnian Sea coast. Within walking distance, there are beautiful sun trails in winter. In the summer, on the other hand, you can take a dip in the strawberry pond or rent summer sports equipment. About a kilometer away, there are shops, a post office, a pharmacy, a pub and a kiosk where you can get lunch and fast food. About two kilometers away from the city center. In winter, you can ski, walk, or snowmobile on the river ice. The sea is about 2 kilometers from the cottage. Great for staying overnight or longer stays.

Upon pre-booking, we can offer access to a wood-fired hot tub outdoors and kayak rentals. From Båtskärsnäs, popular boat trips also go out into the archipelago and in the winter we have nice ice and ski trails. Snowshoes, sleds and snowshoes are available to borrow.
